Connect your senses with nature

Relax and feel
We have known for years that spending time in nature benefits us, both mentally and physically. Menorca offers us beautiful forests in which to reconnect with it. That's why on this occasion we invite you to take a contemplative walk, in which the guide will accompany you to help you enjoy the forest with your five senses. A real experience! Are you up for it?
From Japan, the Shinrin Yoku, better known as the forest bath, is a practice that consists of spending time in the forest, with the aim of improving health, well-being and happiness.
All this while staying in one of the most authentic rural hotels in Minorca, from where we can go in our free time to some of the most beautiful coves of the island and visit the old capital, Ciutadella.
In addition to a philosophy, doing forest baths has important health benefits that have been scientifically proven and prescribed from health systems: stimulates the immune system, reduces stress, blood pressure, increases concentration, improves mood, self-esteem ... It's all about feeling yourself, bringing out the more natural side and forgetting about problems, mobiles and the frenetic pace of day-to-day life.
Doing forest baths is a contemplative practice that stimulates all the senses to experience the benefits of natural spaces and contact with trees. It is not a hiking activity but a connection with the forest. These walks through the forest take an average of about two hours and cover about two kilometres along little-travelled routes where circularity is sought.
In our Hotel Rural Morvedra Nou, we have the collaboration of Isabel Martín, a trained guide with long experience guiding people through the natural surroundings of Menorca so that they can feel the benefits and goodness of contact with nature.
The Hotel Rural Morvedra Nou has the Biosphere Reserve of Menorca brand and is a member of the Spanish Ecotourism Association (AEE) for its commitment to sustainable and quality tourism. The breakfast, included in the program, is made with local products (km 0). The hotel, of course, is also fully committed to sustainable tourism, taking this commitment into account in all its decisions (energy consumption, respect for biodiversity, commitment to local products and local culture).
